Lauren Coyne ’00 reflects on her journey from Dartmouth environmental studies major to sustainability advocate and solar industry professional. After beginning her career as a teacher, Lauren pivoted into solar sales and design, helping advance Colorado’s early renewable energy goals. Now pursuing a master’s in environmental policy and management at the University of Denver, she’s refocusing her career on sustainability and data analytics. Passionate about connection and collaboration, Lauren believes that anyone—regardless of discipline—can contribute to a more sustainable planet. She values the lifelong friendships forged at Dartmouth and encourages others to approach life with confidence, joy, and openness to new beginnings.
