Amanda Rosenblum ’07 shares her passion for education, women’s lives, and social justice.
As Women of Dartmouth’s seventh global chair, Amanda Rosenblum ’07 led WD to our independent 501(c)(3) status and incorporation. Amanda shares her passion for education, women’s lives, and social justice, inspired by The Prison Project, where she visited a women’s prison regularly for two years during her time at Dartmouth. She recalls a transformative experience with other women at Dartmouth and how this authentic, diverse, intergenerational dynamic has played an important part throughout her life.
About Amanda
Amanda Rosenblum ’07 has worked in education nonprofit work since graduating from college, and is currently a Chief Program Officer at the JCC Mid-Westchester. She serves on several boards in the fields of community engagement and youth development, and has a background in organizing against the criminal justice system. She co-founded Trans Bodies, Trans Selves, Inc. For Dartmouth, Amanda served as global chair emerita of Women of Dartmouth and founded Women of Dartmouth, Inc. She is a Vice President of DGALA. She previously served on the Alumni Council twice, and was chair of the New Alumni Engagement Committee and Outreach Chair for the Service Committee. Amanda co-founded the Affiliated Groups Roundtable.
