Chinedu Udeh ’12, elementary school principal, reflects on how her experiences at Dartmouth emblazoned her path dedicated to defining values and creating safe and supportive culture
Values played a huge role in how I moved through Dartmouth, defined myself, and walked into my leadership. What I really hope for Dartmouth is that we take the time to do the hard work of defining our values. What is important to us as a global leader in education? What do we believe about communities and how we treat each other? I think if we do that, we can redefine the institution into the space it needs to be for a growing global community.
